Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to connect with many people and use couchsurfing on the next trips (one year around the world). For the time being I am able to host surfers, and hope to be able to surf a lot on my next journey.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted one couple so far, with great success.
I am told I have the best couch in Quickborn! ;)

Interests

Hauptberuflich betreibe ich "Entwicklungshilfe" im hiesigen Gymnasium in den Fächern Sport und Geographie. Diese Fächer lebe ich auch in der Freizeit aus. In den Ferien bin ich oft auf reisen und sportlich trainiere ich Triathlon, spiele Beachvolleyball, gehe Kitesurfen und fahre gern Ski und Snowboard....
Bin auch gern in der tollen Stadt Hamburg unterwegs.

Full-time I manage the Physical Education & Sports department of the local highschool and also teach Geography. I live out these subjects in my leisure time. During the holidays, I often travel and participate or train for triathlons, beach volleyball games, mountainbiking, etc. I love anything with skis, like skiing, snowboarding, all kinds of surfing....

I also like to go into the great city of Hamburg!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Vor ein paar Jahren habe ich mit Freunden aus Magdeburg eine Expedition nach China unternommen, um den Mustagh Ata (7546m) zu besteigen. Der Aufstieg und das Gipfelerlebnis haben mich schon sehr beeindruckt. Aber auch die Städte und deren Leute an der Seidenstraße faszinieren.
Am liebsten bin ich aber in meiner rollenden Wohnung (Wohnmobil) unterwegs. Da fühle ich mich wie zu hause, nur an den schönsten Orten der Welt und mit bestem Wetter.

Some years ago I was with friends from Magdeburg on an expedition to China in order to climb the Mustagh Ata (7546m). The rise and the peak experience were incredibly impressive.
The cities and their people on the Silk Road are fascinating.
I prefer to be out in my mobile home (motorhome). I feel like I'm at home, but at the most beautiful places in the world and with the best weather.
