My name is Tri Nguyen, but you can call me "Ryan" if it's too hard for you to pronounce. I'm Vietnamese but now studying in the Netherlands. I'm a student at Hotel Management School Maastricht. Studying abroad in Europe is nothing but the best opportunity for me to satisfy my biggest dream: Travelling all around the world.
To say something about my self, I think I'm a friendly, approachable person, who is very curious about things around. Being in the international environment at school helps me understand more about European culture, but it's just not enough. That's why my future goal in the next 4 years is to travel to at least 10 European countries: France, Norway, Italy, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, etc. I choose Hotel Management as my career because I want to meet people from many parts of the world, which provides me with the sense of multi-culture and open-mindedness.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm now a student so definitely, I want to travel with low budget! Usually, accommodation is the most expensive part of the trip and Couchsurfing is the solution to this problem.
Besides, CS is not only a website for those looking for free/cheap accommodation but also a community for travelers to connect to others. Being in this community gives me the chance to communicate with locals, know more about the daily life of them and their way of thinking towards things around, therefore I can fully integrate into other cultures in the world.
