ABOUT ME

Fun, dreamer, lover and smile giver! College educated. Working for a large corporation and wanting to get out! I'm addicted to social media and love the idea of sharing with other things that I do and things they can not experience. I packed up my life 4 years ago and moved to the beach because that is what was calling me. I get bored easy so always trying to find a new adventure.

I got sick a few years ago and was near death. This experiences make you think and make me want so much more from life. I got really into Crossfit, I do Spartan races, I love live music, put a drink (I like all kinds) in my hand and offer som conversation, I love people of all kinds, and just want to make them happy.

I set a goal to drive cross country to see thing I have yet to see, meet people i would never get the opportunity to meet, and eat/drink/dance my way through the country!! Did this summer of 2017 and got to meet some.awesom coach surfering hosts!

Next up: I've been struggling working for a coporation so have plans s of quitting in October. Have a friend that lives in Cali and doing a race in Texas so will be visiting places and would love some hosts!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I got on Couchsurfing to help me explore the beautiful planet we live on and meet the amazing people in it. I've planned many trips and always backed out because my silly brain got in the way. Two years ago I had a pulmonary embolism and then diagnosed with Thyroid cancer which made me want to live my life with more vigor and purposefully!

Interests

I'm super into fitness, I do crossfit and have gotten addicted to Spartan races. I live by the beach because I love toes in the sand and looking out to the water. I like live music and try to get to a few concert a year and catch a lot of local music. I have an amazing group of friends that I consider family and spend a lot of time with them, beers, beach and local food!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies! Most music but top 40 and country are my go to. Give me something to read and I will. Magazine junky!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I took a job that let me live in Germany for 6 weeks! Learned a lot (not German) saw some amazing places and met some amazing people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My big smile and lots of laughter! I want to make people smile! When I get back from my trip I hope to host more! I love sharing my love for Wilmington NC!11
