ABOUT ME

Joyous, adventure-seeking Estonian whose personality is filled with laughter, dry humour, midnight conversations, bite of sarcasm, great music, and nonstop travel-planning. Interested in social entrepreneurship, exchanging new ideas, world history, and everything falling outside the 'comfort zone'. Highly passionate about music, having played the piano and violin ever since I was 6 years old. That is probably the reason why I tend to look out for any underground jazz bars or crazy late-night jam sessions while travelling. Also a big fan of joint cooking nights, hiking in the mountains, wilderness camping and long outdoor walks.

In essence, I think it is important to appreciate little things in life, to live with full integrity, and to enjoy every single second of my life - in all its ups and downs.

Past adventures:
(1) 2011 working with reptiles and birds (e.g. pythons, owls) in the United States
(2) 2015-2016 travelling alone through South America, while living and working with the locals
(3) 2016 living in an isolated mountain range in Norway for a month, while staying with an old couple in a historical cottage
(4) 2016-2017 spending Christmas and New Years Eve in the Patagonian wilderness
(5) 2017 hiking in the Rocky Mountains National Park, USA
(6) 2017 roadtrippin' through Eastern Europe and hiking in the High Tatras National Park, Poland/Slovakia

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spent the Christmas Eve '15 at an elderly home in Buenos Aires talking to people who did not have a family to visit over holidays. The stories shared by these wrinkled men and women in a rather poor neighbourhood of the city shook me to the core and made it into a night to remember for the rest of my life. Eventually, that evening changed my perspective on many things in life, while rejoicing in an environment full of incomparable gratitude and kindness between complete strangers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be glad to teach any skills I have learned throughout the years. That includes bits and pieces of 8-9 languages, some basics of four different musical instruments, research knowledge on human health and biology/physiology/nutrition, travelling stories, international cuisine, political history etc.
