About Me

CURRENT MISSION

i am curious to visit new countries meet different people sharing good time with them talking about the different way of life and experiences we had in our different countries

ABOUT ME

I started my career as a surveyor working in Paris then i started to travel for business first in Africa (Congo)during 6 months for my first experience oversea.
Next during my military service i was sent to Lebanon as technical cooperant during 18 months where i had really good time. On my way back to France I travelled through Europa(Syria,Turkey,Greece,Bulgaria,Hungary,Tchecoslovaquia,East and West Germany,Sweden,Danmark,Nederland,Belgium). Then I started to work for a geophysical American company in many different countries (meadle-east,Algeria ,Lybia,Madagascar etc..)Then I got married and we managed a restaurant on Cote d'Azur during 6 years. After the birth of our first son we decided to stop this crazy job and moved in a more quite place in Var department where we lived 21 years having our second son and working in antik business.
After that we moved in Marseille where we enjoy life for now 10 years.
I am now retired from 2006 spending my time in maintenance of house, garden and also practice of sport:
Triathlon(swimming, bicycle, running)which take a lot of time and energy but brings pleasure, happyness and also suffering in effort...
The rest of the time we try to discover some of the many countries we have not visited.

PHILOSOPHY

With my personal experience of life:Take it easy and enjoy each moment of life

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A ce jour une dizaine d'expériences tant en voyageur qu'en tant que hôte,toutes différentes mais positives qui me font voir que le projet CS est bien réel et fonctionne bien

Music, Movies, and Books

I hate violent movies I like funny movies, love many kind of musics(except rap)blues, jazz, french songs etc...
The last book I read is Into the wild ,I also saw the movie, both make you ask many questions on what we are and why we act like we do it ?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been very impressed when I saw pyramid's in Egypt thinking how clever and strong could be those people , that advanced cvilisation so different from ours.
Beautiful places I also visited Machu Pichu in Peru ;Angkor temples in Cambodge and Taj Mahal in India and Halong bay in Vietnam .So many magical places to discover this is one part of happiness.
Another crazy place I went is a 4 hours trip in Paris catacombs amazing place where you can meet funny people...
