About Me

A way to describe my nature would be that in a lot of different ways, from drinking my coffee, tying my shoes to spending my life, I prefer slow to fast.
I appreciate honesty as a great sence of humour, and I`m pretty fanatic about good icecream, bread and chocolate.

On my last trip out from under my cozy covers in Copenhagen, I wwoofed for about two months on farms in central California. Enjoying life outside, it made me want to keep getting my share of dirt, sun, poop and other goodies on a daily basis - strongly recommend it! Before that I was on a sailing boat in the Caribbean for two months - incredible. I had never really done much water-activity before this, and it gave me a newfound appreciation of the majestic sea and its inhabitants.

Traveling, I have found that reality seems to often exceed my wildest imagination and I definitely want more of that !
So now I'm back on the road, this time in South America, the route southward being carved by the people I meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For meeting new people, sharing and get behind the scenes of your travel destinations.
Just started using couchsurfing - surely want to return the favor and good times when I go back to Copenhagen.

Interests

Hanging with friends and family to me means; hanging out over the coffee machine, going to good movie theaters, seeing live music, walking around your cities or going to explore nearby nature... with top notch food, beer and wine it´s alls you need. Doing absolutely nothing would be another one of my favourites here.

Aside from the obviuos, I am interested in sustainable living, with all its misconceptions, challenges and brilliance. Maybe this one is obvious too.
Without hopefully sounding too hippie or eco-absorbed (I´m not sure though if this would be a bad thing?), I believe that the new communities I see being formed and grown all over the world right now are crucial nests of experimenting and testing out solutions that will come to benefit the majority. I am very interested in the practises they use, their approach to organizing their community and want to know and learn more.

Oh, and I am a big fan of going to flea markets and people watching!
