Hi there, I'm Trine and I'm a 23 year old Dane.

A few years ago, I fell in love with Latin America, and have since finishing my exams been spending as much time as possible in the area, most recently with a ten month journey through most of Central America and the northern part of South America. Here I've learned a ton about Latin American politics and social movements, improving my Spanish, guitar-playing and salsa-skills (of which I particularly enjoy the latter).

Last summer (august 2017) I began my bachelor in anthropology i Aarhus, Denmark, and as a part of my methods course, I have conducted a small fieldwork in Buenos Aires in June and July 2018, learning a bit about the Porteñx culture (though five weeks is hardly enough). Now, having just finished my fieldwork, I'm so ready to experience some of the other things Argentina has to offer!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in Denmark I've spend the last year working with the Danish Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke, a rights-based NGO working with empowering youth around the globe. One of the things we've specifically worked on in Denmark, is the opening of our non-profit café, were the profit goes to activists in El Salvador.
