About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live the life I've always wanted to live, be the person I've wanted to be and make the world in which I live the way it ought to be.
PHILOSOPHY
With each year that passes, I am completely overwhelmed by the beauty of life. I have loved the years I have had on this earth and am so thankful for the people I have met along the way. I love that after all this time I am able to reinvent myself and to learn from others and from the experiences I have been presented. Over the past few years, I have been able to really dedicate my time to my friends, my family and myself in a substantive way--to be the type of daughter, sister, aunt, friend and person I've always wanted to be and to fully express the depths of my appreciation and emotion for those people who have blessed my life so at the end of the day, there are no words left unsaid. Just trying to live a meaningful, fulfilling, judgment-free life doing the things I enjoy most in this world, to treat people I meet with kindness, to truly connect with people I meet even if our time together is limited,to rid myself of social burdens, to enjoy the absurdities of life, and to BE EXCELLENT!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Even before joining CS, I always opened my home and couch to friends, friends of friends, family and friends of family members. I like sharing what I have with others.
As a CS host, I enjoy sharing my fair city (currently Atlanta) with others, making those who visit feel right at home, and helping out whenever I can. I dispense with formalities--when you are in my home, you are family. I love sharing whatever I have in my home with my guests and love cooking or sharing a meal with them (but certainly not necessary if our schedules do not work). I aspire to create a relaxed environment, a respite for my guests from the rigors of travel. Finally, I love learning about the roads people have traveled to arrive at my door.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Since joining CS, I've have met some wonderful people and I look forward to crossing paths with them again. I have enjoyed wonderful conversations late into the night, listening to good music, eating good grub, tearing up the dance floor at MJQ and late food runs.
I have made some wonderful connections with those who have stayed with me that I am looking forward to visiting them on their home turf and continuing the conversation.
