Overview
About Me
Hi! I’m Trinh, but many people call me Ginger 🫚 I’m from Vietnam, currently doing an Eramus semester in France. I would describe myself as pragmatic, sensitive, somewhat self-righteous, self-sacrificing, introverted, determined and helpful. I travel to make myself happy, sometimes make others happy too. I love finding peace at quiet places like bookstores, museums, villages or snowy mountains. I love food and can talk about it all day. I love chocolate, dogs and the adrenaline of adventures, the serendipity but also I'm very cautious to take any risks. Hm.. what else? I might have contamination OCD and tend to avoid conflicts, but I won't run away from difficult communication. In general I'm quite easy to feel happy. Looking forward to meeting you!😊
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love being nostalgic. I might have lived in the present but reconnecting with the past is beautiful and there is nothing better than sharing my travel history with someone. We all will become the past of ourselves and of each other so why not make it a special one. Maybe if we're lucky, we can connect to the future.
I'm also looking to see new perspectives from time to time. Looking at the world through someone's eyes refreshes me from being me and I love to see new versions of myself changing from one place to another.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Love, it gives me courage to do amazing things.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Vietnamese cooking and share food - I believe the stomach connects to brain and heart. I’m happy to share stories in different countries. I can share things about tech and can teach you my language.
I also want to learn from others: local cuisine, local culture, languages, or just the way you see the world. If you have a hobby or a passion, I'm a good listener and happy to try them.
In the end, what I think important is just having a good time!
