I like to think of myself as a happy-go-lucky, warm, open and friendly person. Trying to stay postive and learn from all I do. I love meeting people and trying to understand them. What makes them tick. I also love to share, not only material objects but knowledge too, as most things in life are best shared.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Ive had loads of fun with CS! Its been the basis of my friendship group in Helsinki where I now live. Weekly meetings are one of my favourite events.

I'm also still in touch with my first ever hosts up in northern Finland. Looking forward to more travel experiences in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read extensively from novels to non-fiction. Currently Im in between the pages of Stephen Hawkings, 'A Brief History of Time' and Jack Kerouc's 'On the Road'.

I like a wide range of music, but tend to lean towards instrumental, folk and away from heavy metal/rock.

Movies, Ive never been a really big movie buff (and lets be honest, Im still not) but in the last 6 months Ive watched more movies than I have my entire life prior to that. I see a whole new world in film now. I like movies that create their own little world and that really suck you into it. Like Science of Sleep for example.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I watched a 13 year old autistic boy in remission from cancer sing Shannon Noll's 'What about me?' a capella infront of 100 people. There wasnt a dry eye in the house and never before had a Mark Holden-esque 'touch down' been so deserved.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think we can learn from everyone we meet, although it is easier for me if they are happy, positive and open-minded and I can have a good discussion with them.
