Kia Ora! I am a 26 year old New Zealander having a break from work and excited to meet some new people. My day job is working for the Department of Conservation looking after Aotearoa's national parks. In my spare time I like to get out into nature where I enjoy hiking, wild swimming, photography and goofing around! I also write freelance for hiking magazines in New Zealand.

I think the most important part of traveling is meeting new people! I love sharing the stories of my adventures with others and hearing theirs. I also like to travel on a budget, hence Couchsurfing!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2024 I took part in the Firefighter Skytower Stairclimb, climbing up the tallest building in the southern hemisphere carrying a 20kg pack, all to raise money for Leukemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand. My team ended up raising nearly $10,000NZD!
