About Me
Just returned to my home town after a year & a half of solo travel in SE Asia and Australia.
I am now saving like crazy for my next big adventure and plan to road trip around Europe for summer
**Note: My time is split between Dublin (Tuesday-Thursday) and Galway (Friday-Monday) at the moment. I am not really in a position to accept surfers at the moment, although it's not impossible! If I have free time though I can meet you for a drink or a gig, maybe show you around or take you on a road trip or on a hike. I'm learning to drive so if you are brace enough to get in the car with me I would be happy to have the time to practice!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When Im travelling I like to meet local people & people with local knowledge. I think it gives a more authentic feel for a new place & can generally be a bit more fun. It adds a new twist to the adventure & obviously getting to meet fellow travellers is always a bonus.
Now that I am home I like meeting travellers & showing them around. It motivates me to tour my own country more, meet new people & have some new experiences. It helps break up the mundane of working & studying every week.
Interests
My interests vary greatly. Im a pretty easy going person and I absolutely love discovering & trying new things so I find my interests changing and expanding the more I travel.
I am a massive foodie & food is definitely one of my biggest passions. I love to cook & I love to try new foods from different cultures.
I am a committed environmentalist and try my best to live sustainably while still hopping on an aeroplane whenever possible! Hypocritical i know but nobody is perfect ;)
Other interests are the usual: travel, music, movies, friendships & daydreaming about my future endeavors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am terrified of heights. On my birthday this year I went skydiving on a whim with a friend of a friend that I had never met until we got on the airplane. It was amazing & I made a great new friend doing it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning to drive & I am always looking for an excuse to take a road trip, to practice my driving & explore the Irish countryside so I am happy to take couch surfers on road trips and hikes when I have free time. Followed by some drinks in the local pub of coarse!
I love to cook & can create a healthy twist on most dishes including your favourite fast food dishes.
I can teach you how to have 'the craic' like an irish person!!
I am always coming up with new ways to live more sustainably. I would love to share tips about sustainable living, growing food & making environmentally friendly homemade toothpastes, detergents, cosmetics etc.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Im super neat & tidy so you dont need to worry about my stuff being thrown around. I love to cook so will make you your meal of choice while I'm with you. Im always up for seeing and doing new things so if your looking for a buddy to do stuff I'm in! Equally I am quite happy in my own company and will give you your space in your home & be respectful.
