About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, discover the world, get to know people from different countries and different backgrounds. Laugh, smile for no reasons, be happy.

ABOUT ME

I would say I can be shy sometimes, but I am generally talkative when it gets to share opinions with other people, talk about travelling experience, nature and environnement.

I really love travelling. I keep saying to myself thatI always want to travel more, to discover the world, the people. I want to make the most of my life and travel while I can. I only get to live once, with no first try, no possibility to erase or rewind, so I'd like to do what I love most in life !

I used to study English litterature & civilization in college and I've always been interested in languages, and especially English.

I'm not necessarily a sports addict, but I like to challenge myself in many ways, whether it be physically challenging (going for a hike on January 1St!) or mentally challenging (going on a travel and getting out of my confort zone every day).

PHILOSOPHY

"Qui vivra verra" : "Time will tell"
"Ne jamais dire jamais" : "Never say never"

I try to do my best to make the most of life; with friends, with family, and with all persons who seem to be interesting and nice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed only once in London. Unfortunately I can't host at the moment for several reasons (I used to live in a very small studio with only one bed and no couch, and I don't have my own flat at the moment). But even though my couch is not available, I'll be happy to show you around the city or meet for a drink.

Interests

I enjoy doing a lot of things, and it's pretty hard to summarize what I like in a few sentences. Like a lot of people, I like music and I listen to a lot of genres, ranging from rap to violin.
I also love circus (I worked in a really famous one and travelled the world for a world tour in a former life- or at least that's what I want to believe!). I especially like trapeze (it's a great feeling when you're up here) but as trapezes are pretty much hard to find around the streets, I unfortunately didn't have the chance to train for a long time. Finally? I'm a serie-addict!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Mmmh, this is a difficult question ... Maybe finding the strength to leave family, friends, country and daily routine to go and study/work abroad. This was an amazing and enriching adventure where I met great people from all around the world, and that was only the beginning of the journey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach French with pleasure to the persons who are interested in learning it.
Otherwise ? I'm always happy to learn some words in other languages, and then I'd love to improve the languages I speak -English, Spanish. I'd like to learn a bit of Italian, too.

I don't want to find only a place to sleep (I can go to an hostel for that), but I would like to speak, to share with people coming from different cultures, get to know a place as if I was living there !

What I Can Share with Hosts

People say my Quiche Lorraine and my pizzas are amazing 😋 I could also cook (and teach how to cook) French crêpes !

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, Cyprus, England, Finland, Germany, Italy, Laos, Spain, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
