ABOUT ME

Hello my name is Maartje and i'm from Holland. I try to do the things that gives me a huge smile on my face. I like to be active with sports, like skiing, snowboarding, survival at my outdoor job and to play rugby. I try to avoid being in one place much longer then half a year, think I have Nomad genes in my blood somewhere. I can be really impulsive at times. I love to be outside, to meet people and to be around good friends. I like to laugh and dance, it can be hard to make me go home on a good night out. I'm always looking for new adventures and challenges. The biggest question in my head is which country shall i visit next....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I don't have that much experience yet, i started to use couchsurfing in Sweden, which was great, so i keep going :-).

兴趣

traveling, snowboarding, skiing, swimming in the sea, camping, rugby, festivals, dancing, music, taking photo's of absolutely everything, sledging, meeting new people, making noise on the harmonica, hitch hiking.

Need to do more then one :)
* Teaching skiing and snowboarding in the indoor slope in Dubai, to people who had never seen snow before.
* Traveling through Europe whithout a solid plan in a oldtimer landrover defender with tent on the roof.
* Living as a backpacker in Australia, with a car and tent as my home, being non stop on the road :-)
* Swimming with whalesharks
* Travelled every corner of the south Island in NZ just by hitchhiking
