Overview
About Me
I am a 26 year old adventurous spirit on a mission to discover my true passions so that I can embark on a meaningful journey through life.
I believe the best way to do that is through travelling and meeting like-minded people who I can learn from!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I surfed once in California to check out the scene and I met the most amazing people! I told myself that I would surf long-term some day...
Well that "some day" is now, and it's time to start meeting and learning!
Interests
I really enjoy being outdoors (hiking, biking, camping, ATVing, fishing, beaching). I play all sports (esp hockey, tennis, volleyball) and I enjoy being creative (writing, painting, drawing, dancing). I also like to read and sing.
I am currently learning how to play ukulele and am bringing it with me on my travels :)

Music, Movies, and Books
The Alchemist, The Yoga of Max's Discontent, and Siddhartha are on my list of my next books. If you lead me to a copy, you might be my best friend.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think staying put in Canada for 5 years while finishing my teaching degree when all I wanted to do was spread my wings and travel was amazing...it took a lot of determination being so young and not knowing at all what I wanted to do with my life...
Teach, Learn, Share
I do believe that everyone has a specific path in life that would make them ultimately happy...
I recently realized that I wasn't happy teaching, and I knew I needed to start discovering the things that would truly allow me to create the life of happiness I have been dreaming of since I was a child.
That's the journey I am starting right now :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A good couchsurfing experience is when I feel like I'm giving something in return. I want to:
-be a good listener for you
-clean and make interesting DIY projects for you
-teach you beginner ukulele
-teach you English or French
-cook you anything you're craving
-make art with you
-go outside and explore with you
-philosophize about life
^if any of those things sound like a good way to be compensated for opening your home to me, then we're going to be a good mix.
