About Me

Hi, I'm Trisha! I am currently living in Vancouver, Canada. After crying and mourning over leaving the Philippines for almost a year, I grew to love this city. Although Vancouver is probably one of the most hipstery places in the world, I don't think I am one. I'm not the music festival and camping type of person. I do love having fun though (mostly meaning that I love beer, it makes me feel like a Viking). When I'm not at school spacing out in classes or cramming essays, I'm either shopping, hanging out with friends, reading a book at the beach or playing the Sims. I speak fluent English and Tagalog, and also terrible French. I'm currently learning how to speak German and Old English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've tried couchsurfing in a number of places across the US, it was mostly with people I know though. During those times, I really felt like I was a local so I thought why not do the same for Europe (where I will be heading for the first time ever this July weeeee).

Interests

I'm an English Lit student so basically I live and breathe books. I particularly like anything remotely medieval, from Beowulf to King Arthur to Game of Thrones to Lord of the Rings. I am also a big fashion follower. I'm pretty sure I could win "Name the Designer" gameshow, if they ever come up with one. I am an avid Sims player. I've been playing since Sims 1.
