HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like helping people out and staying on a couch instead of in a hotel room is very helpful for someone who can't always afford a hotel. Plus it's more fun!

BOOKS: Everything by Craig Thompson, Julia Sweeney, and Mary Roach. Bossypants, Scott Pilgrim, The People of Paper, Brave New World, Clown Girl, The Cheese Monkeys, Paper Towns, CAD Monkeys, Dinosaur Babies, and T-Shaped People

MOVIES: I love most genres of movies and my favorites are always changing. It's All Gone Pete Tong, Amelie, Drive, The Interrupters, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Old Boy, King of Kong, What Dreams May Come, World's Greatest Dad (cheesy title to an amazingly dark comedy) and The Shawshank Redemption are some of my tops. I really like watching documentaries about EVERYTHING.

SHOWS: I don't have cable so any shows I watch are on netflix. Dexter, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Californication, and Girls and wonderful.

MUSIC: Currently, I like Ramona Falls, Foo Fighters, Rhymefest, No Doubt, Menomena, Eels, The Cool Kids, The Weakerthans, Peter Bjorn & John, Lit, LMFAO, The Long Winters, Cake, Sufjan Stevens, Flaming Lips, Amon Tobin, Ween, Plus/Minus, The Working Title, Röyksopp, Michael Bublé, Ulver, They Might Be Giants, St. Vincent, Grandaddy, Kanye West, Azealia Banks.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been to Mexico, the Bahamas, and the Dominican Republic. I have jumped fifty feet into a cavernous lagoon and there is a lighthouse near where I live that I like to go out to with my friends and jump off the base into Lake Erie. I grew up on a farm and have owned horses, sheep, ducks, raccoons, hedge hogs, cats, dogs, and everything in between.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well, I can teach you how to swing dance, lindy hop, charleston, blues dance, and maybe a bit of cha cha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fold out couch bed and a chaise, with blankets and pillows. A shower, towels, soap, maybe some light snacks and drinks.
