ABOUT ME

I enjoy a good conversation, chocolate, and red wine. Hopefully together. An ideal night would be a good dinner with friends, followed by tea or wine and a discourse that rambles on late into the night.

I have a bachelors degree in Honours Physics and Philosophy. I want to understand the world! I'm now at Caltech pursuing a PhD in Geophysics.

I lived my first 18 years in London, Ontario, a decent-sized city (as far as Canada goes). I grew up on soccer, waterskiing, and the great sport of underwater hockey (it's a real thing - ask me about it).

Since then, I moved to Vancouver, British Columbia for my undergraduate degree. It's one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Along the way, I've spent my summers in Church Point, Nova Scotia; Victoria, British Columbia; Houston, Texas; and Stuttgart, Germany. I'm now in sunny Pasadena, California.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Stayed with various friends and couchsurfing hosts on a roadtrip across Canada. Met a bunch of wonderful people during a backpacking trip through Europe.
