ABOUT ME
i'm studying abroad in madrid right now, and going back to los estados unidos soon to work at an awesome christian youth camp this summer!! that's what i'm actually doing, but here are some dreams. . . first: to work internationally with medicins sans frontieres. . . second: become fluent in spanish and french. . . third: everyday to have a hot cup of tea and a great book in my hands. but seriously. :) i love life, i love traveling, and i love meeting new friends.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
currently, i just surf because i don't have a home to myself, but in the states i will offer a couch in st. louis. pick me if you want to visit the city! it's a great place with interesting political and social scene, and i will be a happy tour guide :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i surfed in germany and while the country was BEAUTIFUL, my hosts were the most hospitable people i've met in my life. just being with them made germany my favorite experience in all of europe so far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
one recent amazing thing i've seen: in france, i stood under the Arc De Triomphe & spun round and round and round. the lights of Paris swirled around me just as snow started to fall. magical.
Teach, Learn, Share
(1) if you ever make noodles in germany, use the hand-noodle-maker instead of the automatic press. it is deliciously squishy and completely hilariously fun
(2) have you ever wondered how penicillin works as an antibiotic? it makes holes in a pathogen's cell wall and lets water in, so eventually the cells burst. penicillin's clever-- since human cells have cell membranes instead of cell walls, we're totally safe
