About Me
First of all, writing an "about me" feels kind of like a dating site but let me assure you, this is not a dating site.
Secondly, I'm travelling a lot myself right now (the unpleasant work kind) so unfortunately I'm going to be picky when it comes to hosting.
I'm a pretty outgoing adventurer, travelling half for business and half for pleasure. I love meeting new people and doing new things at all kinds of new places! I have a tendency to travel to places where I can do some rock climbing. Bonus points if there's a multi-pitch nearby.
This is the part where I ramble: as I suspect most people do, I'm typing this up during some down time at work. I have a dog, so if you'd like to surf my couch please mention him in your message. His name is Behr and he's a 70lb Chow-mutt rescue. He's super friendly with people but not great with other dogs, so no pets.
My place is centrally located in Toronto, 10 mins from the subway (Eglinton Station) and 15 mins (drive) from the 401 highway. There's no parking at my building but there is some overnight pay spots nearby.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My brother couchsurfed in 2014 and I was totally on board with the idea. I've not surfed myself but I'm always happy to open my doors for a fellow traveler (if my schedule allows that is).
Interests
Camping, hiking, climbing, walking, eating, sitting, watching, hearing, feeling, smelling, and just generally random (and sometimes life threatening) adventures.
Also, cyber security in general is pretty interesting to me. Like I mentioned, that's what I do for a living so I better be interested in that.
