About Me

I grew up in a tiny little town in rural Washington state, and have spent most of my life longing to travel and gain new perspectives. I've lived in some wonderful US cities (Portland, OR and Boston, MA) and recently felt the need to go further than I have before. Hence, quitting my job and traveling with my partner for a while in Oceania and Asia. I'm looking for new friendships and would love to get to know a place through a local's eyes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To be apart of a community of adventurous travelers! To meet new people, share experiences, and learn about different perspectives.

Interests

I’m a big fan of the outdoors - hiking, backpacking, and water sports! I love to indoor rock climb and I'm interested in trying some outdoor soon. I’m a big reader and love to hear and share recommendations. I also enjoy making things with my hands from cooking to knitting to sewing/repair to gardening (with limited success lol).
