Hi, I'm Triska! The first time I used Couchsurfing was back in 2014, when I did a solo backpacking trip around Japan before graduating college. It was a truly life-changing experience for me that I will never forget!

4 years have passed since I graduated, and unfortunately I haven't got the chance to continue my Couchsurfing experience since I'm busy working full-time in my hometown.

I was looking for cheap guesthouses in Japan, and finally my friends introduced me to Couchsurfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started Couchsurfing in February 2014. I have hosted 4 people in my apartment in Tokyo, and I have surfed around 10 times during my solo trip around Japan in April 2014.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Japan is probably the most amazing experience in my life.

I learned a new language, made a lot of new friends from various countries, participated in design events, met fellow Japanese designers, traveled alone around Japan and met new friends from Couchsurfing. It's been really fun!
