I'm a farm kid from Central Illinois, USA. I grew up in a small rural community and loved it. During my college years, I started traveling more extensively. I began to really love to backpack and hike. Then I married an awesome girl who got me into climbing. Our lives are now filled with a strange mix of farming, backpacking, and climbing.
