I am an American who recently moved to Naples, Italy. I enjoy traveling, learning about other cultures, and I am very adventurous. An avid outdoors person, I love exploring outside and I am interested in almost every outdoor activity you can do. I also love science and learning about nature, as well as teaching others and passing on what I have learned.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As someone who recently moved to Europe, I am hoping that couchsurfing will give me a means to meet new and interesting people throughout my travels on the old continent. I am very interested in learning about other cultures first hand and I think this will provide me the easiest and best way of doing so.

Interests

With my interest in mountaineering, I aspire to climb the classic peaks of the Swiss, French, and Italian alps, including Mont Blanc, Gran Paradiso, and hopefully even the Matterhorn.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a very eclectic taste in music. I really like alternative rock (especially from the 90's), indie rock, and Electronic Dance Music (EDM). I also have an appreciation for classical music, jazz, and even opera.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As my first experience climbing big mountains, I reached the summit of Mt Rainier in Washington state, twice.
