About Me

Travelling overland from Australia to Europe. Have spent the last few months working on solar minigrid projects for remote villages in Myanmar (Burma).

I grew up in Melbourne, originally North Carlton and spent much of my early years in the bush at our family farm. The environment has been a big part of my life and led me to work in renewable energy. I've been developing wind farms since 2008 and just recently moved into utility scale solar development.

Yoga, festivals, friends, community and the outdoors are a big part of my life.

Travel and festivals inspire me and have taught me so much about the world and myself.

An open heart, mind, smiles and hugs are the source of so much goodness in this world - share them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A Norwegian friend who I met in India a few years earlier and I rendezvoused in Sri Lanka and decided to drive a Tuk Tuk full circle around Sri Lanka for a month. We decourated our Tuk Tuk like a wedding cart and shared the driving. The freedom and fun we enjoyed was boundless, new friends experiences and many untrodden paths. We had no plan but to embrace all that came our way. We were a taxi and set a new course with each new passenger that hailed us down. Wild elephants stopped us in our tracks, locals welcomed us and took us in and we shared paths with many a backpacker eager for a lift. A journey I will never forget!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can link you up with great local yoga/meditation shala's, teachers and possibly retreats.
If you're here on the weekend some parties (mostly house/electronic) you'd probably never otherwise know about
A spare bike and local tour (especially street art) if I have spare time
Ideas for local food (especially good vegetarian), bars and pubs
Summer park time in the gardens
