About Me

I am a Mechanical Engineer specializing in Computer Aided Design. Most Recently, I was employed by iRobot as a contractor working on their Bomb Disposal Robots.

I earned my Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I usually stay at hotels when traveling, but sometimes you need the insight of a local to really visit a new place.

Currently, I am looking at apartments in Austin, TX. This way I can talk to the people that know the area and save some money since I'm also still trying to find a job in Austin.

Interests

I love tech talk and I will often dive deep into the inner workings of a device with a willing listener.

I play video and computer games. The Elder Scrolls is my favorite series.

I'm constantly maintaining my car myself, so if you know an easy way to fix something on a car, tell me about it so I can stay out of the mechanic's shop.

I enjoy walking around scenic cities and eating out. Tell me a good place to eat, I'll treat you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of J-Pop and Rock, it's what got me to start learning the language.
I love the works of Paul Simon and Warren Zevon. I like Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin.

My favorite movie would have to be The Hunt for Red October. I recently watched Puella Magi Madoka Magicka: Rebellion...twice.

I am currently engrossed in a fantasy trilogy by Brandon Sanderson called Mistborn. I'm on the third book and it is awesome. I've also read just about all of the Halo books, and played all the games, of course.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011, I spent a month in Japan - two weeks in Tokyo, two in Kyoto - and didn't have to use any English!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, England, France, Germany, Japan, Netherlands, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In
