HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have stayed on people's couches a few times, but usually I get my own hotel and send messages to people in their city and ask to meet up and tour the city together. CS really is one of the best and truest ways to get to know a city and its culture.

Interesses

I enjoy understanding what I am looking at and knowing its significance. Exotic foods are fun, I dont eat super crazy meats anymore.. I tried some that... i didnt like so much ahaha, but i like foreign cuisine generally. Nightlife has always been a joy of mine, although I'm more into bars than clubs. Basically, I am a social person who is interested in learning about foreign cultures and history through first hand experiences. I have been told I am an easy going person who likes good conversations... with a touch of being opinionated... just to make it interesting. :D

Music, everything except American country music or rap.

Authors, I'm all over the map on authors I like.. I'm reading George R.R.Martin right now if that helps. And I usually like to read a history book on a country or region I'm going to.

Uhm, the Olympics in China. I lived a ten minute bicycle ride away from the Beijing Olympics so I got to see a lot of events and completely experience the games. That was pretty awesome.
