Overview
About Me
I was born in France, amidst the vineyards of the region of Bordeaux. I had the chance to grow up in Mozambique first, and then in several places in France. I came to China four years ago for studies, and I have to say I really liked it here. It's the first time I had to learn by myself about a completely different culture, and I enjoyed it so much that I came back.
Anyway, this is just a brief overview, hopefully you can get the whole picture soon, when I go to your place or when you come to mine!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've done some couch-surfing before without using this website and I'm sure I missed loads of opportunities to meet and learn from people. What I like the most about couch-surfing is the fact that I can get surprised every time. By the people, by their story or by the country and expectations that never seem to be correct. I guess in the end having no expectation at all is the best plan.
Interests
Of course, I enjoy traveling, and everything it entails: discovering pieces of the world, dealing with the unknown and the unexpected, meeting local people and people from far away, getting to know more about different cultures, languages, customs... Anyway, I know you got this.
I also spend a lot of time ferreting out some good unheard music tracks or rediscovering classics. I also love to learn and play the drums, the piano and the ukulele. Hopefully we can play something together!

Music, Movies, and Books
About music, you should definitely give a try to "Boondigga" by Fat Freddy's Drop and "The Journey" by Tom Misch.
“I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of hot black coffee.”
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My 56-hour-long journey from Anshan in China to Ulan Bator in Mongolia, in one go.
Ok, it sounds more laborious than amazing, but my whole 10,000-km solo road trip across China was truly amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can humbly teach you how to cook a "croque-monsieur", how to juggle a football, or how to play the ukulele.
And whether it is English, Mongolian, Nahuatl or Xhosa (or even French), teach me something about your native language, I'm super interested in languages and linguistics.
