Overview
About Me
I'm quite easy going and sociable. I like meeting new people - get along well with all sorts. That's a big motivation for hosting. I tend to be pretty extroverted, though that can vary wildly based on how tired and how caffeinated I am.
Traveling, I like visiting both cities and countryside - enjoy camping and backpacking a good deal. In general, I'm up for most anything. Not a big planner, though I'll often do the broad strokes. Enjoy museums, parks, just wandering around a city. A 'night of drinking' is like two beers at this point for me :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been on here for over decade now. Enjoy hosting people from near and far - I enjoy showing people around, learning about their trips and culture. When traveling, I very much enjoy spending time with my hosts, getting a snippet of their life and what they enjoy about where they live.
Interests
Outdoors - hiking, backpacking/trekking, camping, canyoneering, done a little rock climbing, wandering aimlessly and seeing what I encounter, jumping into water a bit colder than I'd generally like to jump into (of course, if its near a fire or a banya/sauna that makes it easier), sitting in the shade on a nice day with some friends and a few beers, going to festivals, and, of course, traveling.
Indoors - Socializing (with or without caffeinated or alcoholic beverages), cooking (amateur at best), reading, writing, listen to music (can't make any myself), watching a film/play, wandering a museum or the like, playing computer games or board games.
