About Me

CURRENT MISSION

ABOUT ME
I work as a Wine Merchant, Writer and Musician, I live with my beautiful other half Julia who works as a school teacher. We are both well traveled individuals and know what is's like. We are very open minded and love meeting people from different cultures and walks of life.

PHILOSOPHY

-work to live don't live to work
-it's not the strongest or most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change "Charles
Darwin"
-the best way to experience a culture is through it's food & cuisine

Music, Movies, and Books

Far too many to list... ask me though and we can have a conversation about it over some food and drink :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Death Valley is Pretty Cool...
Also hired a car, drove through the Deserts of California, Nevada, Arizona and shot a music video. IN THE MIDDLE OF JULY!!! probly more crazy than amazing...also got strandard in the middle of rural Vietnam after our bus broke down was in transit for over 24 hours at the time not so amazing but when I look back on it, I am like "yep that was an amazing experience"
I could definitely list a few more amazing stories but maybe I will save those, if you end up staying with us :-)

Teach, Learn, Share

Apart from offering a cushy futon, we can give local tips and advice on our Mother Land. and hopefully you would do the same if we are ever in your neck of the woods.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A cushy futon to sleep on for a couple of nights

Good conversation and GREAT advice.

ALSO I know of a lot of hidden gems in Auckland city that you wouldn't find out about staying in a hostel...or reading travel guides. THIS IS WHY COUCH SURFING IS GREAT!!!

AND...I ALSO OFFER...

Overall GOOD TIMES!!!
