ABOUT ME

I'm a student in my final year of medical school. That keeps me pretty busy, but not too busy to hang out with friends. Biking, skiing, running, hiking, exploring the city, grabbing beers, cooking dinner are all things I fill my spare time with.

I traveled for three months in 2008 in Southeast Asia and it was amazing. I loved learning about the history, seeing different countries, exploring other cultures, meeting new people, and also taking opportunities to relax in the sun!

In 2010, I traveled for three months in Eastern Europe, which was an incredible opportunity. I visited a dozen countries and was enthralled with each.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a couple of couches on my trip through Europe. It was a really awesome experience! School has kept me too busy and my schedule too erratic to host, but I'd like to try again in the coming year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In Thailand, some things were stolen from the hotel room I was sharing with my sister. She knew someone who lived on the island, so we left the guest house and stayed with her friend for a night. That was my first couchsurfing experience, I'd say.

I also surfed a couple of couches last summer in Eastern Europe via CS.

Interests

Learning new things, meeting people from around the world, trying new food, music, movies, history, having a good time, and lots of other things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking for three months in Southeast Asia was amazing! Angkor Wat was probably one of the most incredible parts. Halong Bay was beautiful...

In Eastern Europe, I was totally in love with Prague, Sarajevo, and Greece. Albania was an adventure!
