About Me

I am a person who loves to share about my culture and get to know others as much as possible. I have lived in Europe recently (Austria and Italy) and now I am back in my country trying to do my best to share my knowledge.

I studied physics and astronomy that allowed me to travel a lot. Almost 3 years abroad, thought me a many things, specially the value of sharing with people and the appreciation for the different cultures all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I have had many good experiences during my stay in Italy! (See my references)
I hosted some people and showed them the beautiful city of Padova in northern Italy. It was great to share all my knowledge and to learn from them also.

I do believe that Guatemala has many beautiful things also, so if you allow me I can show some of them.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been in the top of more than 8 volcanoes in Guatemala, two of them higher than 3800 meters above sea level. I have been just by myself in Tikal National Park listening the sounds of monkeys and primates while exploring the amazing classical Mayan culture. I am learning K'iche', the language of more than 2 million indigenous people in Guatemala, because I consider that local languages preserve identity and, more importantly, project a culture towards a better future.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Spanish . My English is really good so I can explain to you some complex things are happening in Guatemala. Additionally, I love food and I think I can give very good recommendations on Italiam and Guatemalan food.
