ABOUT ME/US
Wow, so many years without couchsurfing due to many changes in my life after my last big trip, I will now update my profile a bit and also reinvent it a little bit as I am currently on a road trip with my boyfriend -Lars- and our dog -Gucci- , also adding pictures of the three of us...
Lars and I met at a festival during my last trip, when I was just between south america and SriLanka / India. Since then, we somehow managed to stick together and be individually free at the same time. He loves to travel and experience all things that come across, just like me.
For a living, we both assist and take care of handicapped people. I also study nutrition science.
For the last 1,5 years we only had part time homes as we spent the summer working on music festivals, selling food or doing psycare, which we intent to do again next summer. For the winter we bought a small car, built a construction to sleep on, took the dog and hit the road through Austria and Ljubljana to Italy so far. The plan is to discover the big boot and find the best pizza ;)
We are very easy going and would like to share what we have for some local experiences in return :) Always happy to help wherever we can, no meter what. We like to have long discussions and exchanges of opinions, skills and experiences. We actually don't need much, a cozy corner to read a book, watch a movie or roll out the yoga mat , a kitchen to cook a great dinner, some glasses and nice company to drink a bottle of wine would be enough. But we are also grateful for everything that we may receive.
Gucci (our dog) is by our side for two years now. We inherited him when the woman I worked for died. Sometimes he can be a bit nervous in the beginning due to new environments and sounds, but as soon as he feels safe, he's the sweetest little soul on earth.
-------- old text from years ago --------------
After working for a few years I've attended an Adult school of Secondary education for my A-levels. But as I thought I need to take advantage of my time I've decided not to study straight ahead but travel first :)
I am very much interested in everything about foods and nutrition- culturally as well as its effects to our body and health. So I am always happy to cook and to have a nice dinner.
I would consider myself as an open minded and easygoing person.
I like being active but can also spend a day being lazy.
Don't need much but am always happy to add something and to help wherever I can.
PHILOSOPHY
Karma watches everything
Sharing multiplies
Happiness can only exist in acceptance!
I strongly believe that love will always win! Not starting by the love to other people, and of course not the the love to things.. But a healthy self love is the key to reflecting goodwill and compassion from one heart and soul to another.
Everything we want, we already have inside. We just need to be happy with ourselfs as companions and truly listen inside.
At the same time and besides love, gratitude is the greatest power! It helps us to grow and expand. It brings joy and happiness into our lifes.

Also I love the stories written by Paulo Cuelo
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best thing I've done though was probably to quit school and home when I was 16 to start living my life under my own control!
