About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I am on a mission to make the world a better place.

ABOUT ME

I have some very close friends, and they would tell you funny adventure stories from our recent past. I aim to keep close friends all life long, while making new ones.

I am a very loving and caring person with a sincere reckless streak, but my love of danger and nature is personal. I like guiding people past their limits.

I believe in the good of all people and humanity, and enjoy a healthy and respectful trust that I assume people have of me. My life is an open book, so I make a sincere effort to respect peoples boundaries who feel they need barriers.

PHILOSOPHY

Freedom.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Happy to help the world progress. I think this could be a small part of it; keeping people connected to communities when they travel, and not just supporting the corporate machine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted but not surfed other peoples couches yet.

Interests

I work a lot as a Waldorf teacher, which requires constant reading, music practice and art in my life. I love to cook and eat mostly organic including no sugar, dairy or wheat. I love inventing new things; music, photography and film. But cooking takes up a LOT of my time, because I love the whole process of transformation, experimentation and invention.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like comedies. My favorite writing teacher told me, "There are too many sad endings in life. At least you can make your story happy."

I like to create my own books, and currently have 8 self-published books on Amazon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It may sound common, but being tossed around in the waves in Hawaii, especially at night, reminds me of the fearsome and exhilarating power of nature.

The Napali Coast, Kalalau is my favorite place on Earth. Living in a sand cave not 50 feet from the ocean, drinking from pure streams and bathing in clear waterfalls.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to learn musical skills or new languages and happy to brush up on languages I used to know better. I am happy to trade teaching photography, video editing, photoshop, or just an ukulele song.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help you with your English, go do some Parkour with you, or help you with something you're writing.
