ABOUT ME

I'm a Canadian currently teaching at Beijing Normal University. Hopefully I will be in China for quite some time either working or traveling. I'm from Toronto, which I would like to think is one of the most diverse cities in the world. I have friends that come from all over the planet and I hope to make more on my travels.
I'm a quite curious and outgoing person, sometimes to my detriment haha

Balance is key- moderation and limiting excess is crucial
Family is always number 1, and this includes friends that have become brothers and sisters
Learning from own experiences as well as others- best way to deal with disappointment and failure
Appreciation for what I have- especially because of the great situation i grew up in, ie. great country and city, good family etc.

Music- Mostly all over the place, have fancied different types of music throughout different times in my life such as metal, classic rock, electronic dance music (house, trance) and hip hop. Some artists include:
System of a Down, Wu-Tang Clan, Kid Cudi, Metallica, Kanye West, Eminem and Tan Dun haha

Books- Dostoevsky and Hemingway are favorite authors, have read most of their works
