About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel. Learn. Grow. Do Good.
ABOUT ME
A new DC resident, I spend my days working at an amazing food security and workforce development nonprofit and my evenings eating, laughing, and drinking with friends. I'm a spontaneous planner, an adventurous homebody, a non-artistic left-hander, and an appreciator of life's paradoxes.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm here to lessen the burden of others.
I try to live my this in all aspects of my life. This means that my actions and my decisions should have no negative consequences on anyone else, and in fact, what I say and do should instead benefit others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Looking to meet up with people in the DC area for adventures--specifically those that involve nature and beer!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I used CouchSurfing to trek around Ireland for 11 days and it was a fantastic experience. While roadtripping the USA, I happened across the Boulder Couch Crash which was an epic time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Senegal, people young and old dance the Youza. It's like the YMCA of Senegal. Whenever I met someone new, I always danced the Youza for them--being laughed at is a universally bonding experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's see, I'm great with kids (which apparently is something not everyone can say!) and I have tons of punny jokes to share!
I would LOVE to learn to love cooking. I feel that CouchSurfing is a community filled with people who would be willing to give me a lesson or two.
