ABOUT ME

I hale from Fort Collins, Colorado, where the high plains bump up against the Rocky Mountains.

Pleasures and pastimes include poetry, literary fiction, hiking, camping out at coffee shops, learning languages, teaching languages, wandering new cities, cooking fanciful meals, spontaneous live music, happy hour patios with friends...

Over the past decade or so, I have worked as a college English instructor, librarian, dinner theater receptionist, barista, group home counselor, academic advisor, real estate assistant, online writing tutor, ESL teacher in Taiwan-- It's always an adventure.

Finally, I'm an outgoing introvert. I enjoy people immensely but definitely take a lot of time to be on my own. I thoroughly enjoy the more intimate gatherings: good food & drink, big-hearted people, brave conversation.
