About Me
CURRENT MISSION
make metal art, save money to travel
ABOUT ME
i am curious, spontaneous, and crazy about life. i left the USA in 2010 on a bicycle i made from scratch. after riding as far as Colombia, i bought a motorcycle to ride around south america. i came back to the US in 2013 and recently started a metal fabrication business in Springfield, OR. I make metal things and recycled art. i am a lost soul with a free spirit and an untamed heart.
I like jokes and i love people that crack them. i love ice cream and making things with my hands and going on adventures.
my adventure blog is here: www.spokecount.com
my metalwork is on instagram here: @so.metal

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I use couchsurfing to meet interesting people. i try to bring something unique to the table. i try to stay with people when i am on the road. i have always offered my place, but i usually live somewhere out of the way and don't get many visitors.
uso Couch para concer a la gente. a la gente interesante. intento traer algo unico a la mesa.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
First: I couchsurfed in Ireland by accident when I was bike touring there by meeting a couchsurfer in Galway. she was also bicycling around Ireland and taught me about the project.
Best: Puerto Montt, Chile. Surfers arrived from Germany, Russia, Australia, and the USA to make the perfect storm of humor, food, and dancing until dawn. 2 nights in a row! Nobody wanted to leave!
I also use Warmshowers.org, it's like couchsurfing for cyclists. I recommend it.
