My name is Troi and I'm a queer chick from Chicago. Grew up there, spent a few years in New York while studying at school.

In America, I've visited San Francisco, Michigan, and Indiana. I've been to Washington D.C. twice, and each time was for a protest. Last year, I studied abroad in Tanzania, Malawi and Zimbabwe. I would love to visit Blantyre again :'(. I studied each country's history, their language, developmental human psychology, and worked with community groups as part of the program.

I am ALWAYS dancing. Even at work.

I just graduated college and am pursuing film. I'm going to be New York in the next month to work at a film festival with HBO.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and experience new places. I don't see why we should pay to stay in a hotel room alone when you could use travel as an opportunity to make a connection with someone.
