About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Survive the European Winter and formulate a rad vege pate
ABOUT ME
Im a relaxed dreamer who is damn busy, working the sails as i steer the boat into the wind of madness and life. The final curtain is descending on my Bachelor and i can feel the barons and the wolfs beginning to snarl. Im a drifter, a pager, a romantic, a thoughtful chef, an albatross. When im not on the road with one eye closed dreaming an naive utopia, I;ll have my feet up in Melbourne taking the days in slow and nights like a portuguese traveler who just arrived in Rio.
PHILOSOPHY
To give everything fair go in life, plants included, so that it can help me grow as a human being, to give back the earth, creatures not like us and the comrads who we share this mad journey . Also not to sweat the small things in life, we could be dead tommorrow so today lets make it a damn good one today.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By participating in communities, spreading the love and keeping the dream alive that the human spirit is free and capable of much more than we know. I host the wandering souls both on offically and off the books.
I try and cook a damn fine meal for my host and leave quietly as a mouse.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a few cats back at my lair, met plenty of surfers from the pack floating down the river of existence and have been unoffically surfing this trip.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spent 5 real slow days floating down the Amazonian river on an ancient barge from LeTecia in Colombia to Iquito in Peru. It was like something from Fitzcarraldo, so many strange characters entering the same space for a brief period, trapped together on a tandam journey then departing away once again. Passing villages with indigenous names, chewing on sugar cane, the basic of meals in my lift, broken propellars, towing other crafts, subtle moments in basin, slowly, drifting back in mechanical time, to a quieter, peaceful age. The slowness is the magic and you have to be calm and awake and ready to appreciate the beauty of this epic river. Docking at Iquitos, once the richest city on the globe, a rubber boom like a housing boom, crash - it was like entering a jungle riverside museum, a city like Anckor, but never abandoned, rich with urban pace, tropical fruit and romantic decay. Good times.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to pass on some chords and tunes on guitar and then learn how play piano, a dream of mine. Im slowly learning Spanish and would more than happy to engage some lengthy English conversation.
