Hey this is Trot! I'm a 25 y/o grad student at Carnegie Mellon studying cyber security. I'm from Virginia, lived outside of DC for 2 years, and travelled Europe for a summer. I like going out for drinks, seeing new places, and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm going to Cambridge for a conference. I've got a hotel for most of the week, but I'd love to crash with someone for one night, get a tour of the place, and see MIT!

I like any movie that has giant monsters fighting giant robots. My favorite books are history-related (presidents, wars, politics).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent several months hiking through the Appalachian Trail and teaching students about water conservation. Lots of campfires, star gazing, bug bites, and great memories for sure.
