About Me

Hello hosts and travelers! Im currently on a 2 month climbing road trip down the west coast with my girlfriend. After our road trip in our awesome van ( vaughn burgandy) we will be moving to thailand so i can get back to work as a dive instrusctor. I lived I'm Mexico for four years when I was 7 years old, and in Australia for two years after that, then moved to ashland oregon where I started high school and my aquatic pursuits. I'm a very easy going guy, love the outdoors, and am big into cooking and wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel very often, and enjoy meeting new people, and helping people out. Also, my profile is a bit misleading, my home in bend hosted couchsurfers ( wasnt my acct) and i hosted a couple dozen in manzanillo mexico, but have yet to officially visit myself!!

Interests

I've been a passionate rock climber for 7 years, and it still a driving force in my life, and the focus of this awesome roadtrip.

Music, Movies, and Books

The lists are large... Hard to pick favorites. Got, Harry Potter, Rick and Morty, parks and rec. Friends, arrested development, fight club, Jack london, modest mouse, the lumaneers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived on cocos island for a month, and dove with roughly 400 hammerhead sharks at once. Glorious.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely teach cooking, climbing, diving, disc golf, chess... lots of things. I am always down to learn something new in return.

What I Can Share with Hosts

This is my " what I can share with travelers section" as I won't be doing any traveling myself for a while.

I live alone in a two bedroom house with three beds overlooking the bay. It's a total Mexican hacienda beach house, but it's clean and has everything you need. Shower, bathroom, kitchen, washer dryer, one extra queen and one extra single, and is located in a safe area. My brother owns the house, and lives right next to me and has a beautiful deck overlooking Santiago bay, as well as Internet. My brother owns discover manzanillo, which is where I'm doing my training. They offer fishing, jet ski, scuba, and snorkeling trips. if you feel like contributing to your stay, going on one of his trips is the best way to do
It( but please don't feel obligated to!!!) I train scuba til 4ish, 5 days a week, but can take time off whenever really... So at the very least I can play til it gets dark! I do have boogie boards for
You to use as well.
