ABOUT ME

Well, let's see. I'm a 22 year old from a too-small tourist town in Northern Michigan and am studying International Relations at Michigan State University (nearly done!). I want to continue my education in IR in a masters program, hopefully near Washington D.C. and eventually work for a non-profit security watchdog or potentially an intergovernmental organization somewhere. I enjoy a myriad of activities, from biking and fishing, to reading and going to concerts. I love travelling and have been to over forty states, and to Mexico and Canada. I greatly enjoy meeting people from all walks of life.

I like to live thoughtfully. To truly take in everything I can slowly and digest it thoroughly.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed a couple of times with wonderful people, and will be hosting as soon as I have an apartment with which I am able to do so. However, I would love to meet up with you if you're in my area!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Super positive. Every person that I have met through Couchsurfing, or who is a member has been just a joy. I am constantly telling friends that they NEED to be a part of this and try it out in any capacity.

Going to concerts is one of my favorite activities and I enjoy a large plethora of music including:

I love reading, and spend a lot of free time doing so. The Hobbit and the rest of the LOTR series are some of my favorites, but I also enjoy classics like 1984, The Great Gastby, Lolita, One Flew over the Cuckoos Nest, etc.
