About Me

Los Angeles, California gal, just finished my masters degree in Sustainable Environments and Planning (Environmental Management) at Bond University on Australia's Gold Coast. I love animals, tea, nature, Jesus and Netflix. . . yup that about sums it up. lol.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best part of couch surfing is meeting genuine people who have been all over and sharing in those experiences and lifestyles without having to read it in a book or on the internet (cough-cough).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies I love: ELF (My all time favorite), Straight Out of Compton, Pocahontas, Forrest Gump, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, 4 Brothers, The temptations, Fast and Furious Series (anything with Paul Walker or Tyreese, really... I mean, come on)

Books: The Skin I'm In By: Sharon G. Flake, The Conversation By: Hill Harper, The Holy Bible By: God and company

Music: No specific genre, if it's good it's good, if its bad TURN THAT CRAP OFF!
Seriously though, I'm not too picky, I have Salena, Ella Fitzgerald, Miguel, Omi, Nirvana, John Mayer, T.I. and Kylie Minogue on my phone.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made Thanksgiving dinner all by myself for 3 Africans, an Australian, 2 Chinese people and an Indian. After we ate I was sure to tell them what the heck Thanksgiving was . . . I had to research it though. lol (for shame)

Teach, Learn, Share

I have worked as a zipline guide 300ft in the air and as a wildlife educator at the Los Angeles Zoo, I am about 50% fluent in both ASL and Spanish and if you want to know more about Jesus I can share that information too. I'm not pushy though, I just love that guy to death.

I cook almost every night, you are welcome to it if you stay with me, but there are tons of shops near by. I keep candy in my unit along with toilet paper, towels, and tooth paste, guest are welcome to those as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I stay with you, I share my knowledge, maybe a meal or two, my experiences, and my bobby pins, I'm sure they'll go missing one way or another anyway.
