About Me

There are some folks who love to talk about themselves more than anything. I'm not really one of them, so you'd rather check out the references and try to sort out those "automatic generated ones" that sound like "he's a cool, easy-going, open-minded guy"... ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was lucky to experience a great deal of amazing moments and long-lasting friendships thanks to this site in the last couple of years. Hope i'm not too old yet to get similar feelings further on. :)

Interests

People (love to get know new personalities), spiritualism (oriental philosophies, awareness, consciousness, however we put it), history (life of our prehistoric forefathers or military history in the middle ages), geography (even space travels i'm interested in, so surfers from Alpha Centauri feel free to contact me..!), entrepreneurship (like creating something from nothing), sports (martial arts, football, handball, etc), books, games, foreign cultures, politics, picnics, Asterix, etc.. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Lot of movies i was inspired by, and not too surprising most of them are based on a marvellous novel, just like John King's Football Factory, Anthony Burgess' Clockwork Orange, Irvine Welsh' Trainspotting, Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or Stephen King's Shining. The favourite director is the Mexican Alejandro G. Iñarritu whose innovativeness is imho just unique. Another great writers include Ken Follett (his plain but witty writing style is incredibly exciting), the mafia-specialist Mario Puzo or the poet of natural beauty and a nation's sorrow, Albert Wass.

Regarding music, i'm really omnivorous. I specially love electronic chillout artists in triphop, downtempo or chillstep genres, but i'm also keen on more intense vibes such as Modestep, Dub FX or even Infected Mushroom. I could list a ton of artists actually on a really wide range from the Austrian icon Falco through Turkish rapper Sagopa Kajmer to the virtuosic French band Nouvelle Vague.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Perhaps love? Seen, felt, made, feared. Still don't know what it is. Maybe it cannot be said.
