ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Linh, currently living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

I love traveling and learning from everyone I meet on the road. I desire to discover every part of this world. And I am stepping on it.

I love traveling alone in new places which enables me to make friends everywhere and to be anything I would like to be. I enjoy getting lost in a middle of nowhere as for me, it's the best way to discover new things. I still love to travel with friends to spend time and have fun together.

I like to know about history, culture, and interesting stories that encourage me to continue going on my journey.

I don't hesitate to take risk (I even enjoy it) as it offers interesting experiences which I believe, the most precious treasure in life

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As reading a journal of a Vietnamese girl whose dream is traveling around the world, I knew about Couchsurfing. And I want to create my own amazing experiences through making friends here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good! I've made good friends and learnt more about culture and some other things from everyone I've met on CS. I just can't wait to go again, anyone who has any idea of working and volunteering abroad to support traveling, please don't hesitate to drop me a line to guide. I appreciate all your help.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1st time travel abroad, and being alone in Cambodia. My first experience is totally amazing to me! I traveled, got lost, talked to many local people, taught the children to speak and sing English, went to the forest to harvest peanuts... Those experiences you just can't get at your own place!

Accompany with a friend riding manual scooter from the center of Vietnam through the north in 15 days, along Hochiminh road - 1 of the most beautiful and peaceful roads I've ever been

Pitching a tent on the mountain in Sapa in a very foggy weather and found out it was a perfect place, which is above an ethnic village with the river along the side, and the terrace field... Just amazing...

5 days trekking in the jungle with 90km by foot and 40km by the tractor, carrying 10-13kg backpack. Bathing in a stream, sleeping in a tent, sometimes drinking water from the streams...

200 hours Yoga Teaching Course in Rishikesh (India), the ancient birth place of Yoga

say "Why not?" instead of "Why?"

Jump over your Fear and it feels so good, let's do it! I am scared of Ghost, never sleep alone, never play with dogs. But I just did it anyway in the trip in Cambodia, and yes, it brought me totally awesome feelings after all. I feel brave and so proud of myself.
