Books: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay, Middlemarch, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Watchmen.

TV Shows: Currently watching Mad Men and Louie. Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, Twin Peaks, Veronica Mars, Popular, The Adventures of Pete & Pete, Freaks and Geeks, Coupling.

Movies: Stanley Kubrick, Paul Thomas Anderson, Spike Jonze (+ Charlie Kaufman), David Lynch, Wes Anderson (really).

Music: 'indie' rock and pop, electronic, experimental, noise, shoegaze, ambient, weird and not so weird outsider music. Like old 4AD, Kranky, Mexican Summer, Type Records, Root Strata, etc. I'm not immune to infectiously catchy or competent mainstream. I unironically like Calvin Harris.
