About Me

My name's Trudie, I'm 22 and I'm a feminist. I like my feminism the way I like my tea - intersectionalist and with a spoonfull of honey. I'm also a vegetarian and I LOVE food. I love writing, reading, walking, cycling, hiking, kayaking and dancing (badly) to the smiths. I love animals. I have a particular kind of love for all birds. I also really enjoy red lipstick.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share beautiful experiences, conversations, adventures and smiles.

Interests

I have a huge passion for mental health, human rights and gender eqaulity activism. I don't know much about the activist scene in Granada but I'm hoping to learn.
I love the outdoors and enjoy spending time hiking and cyling. I also love writing, reading and spoken word. Spoken word poetry and poetry slams have been a big part of my life for the past couple of years.

I've been a vegetarian for the last seven years and I enjoy cooking veggie meals. Veggie lasagne is one of my favourites:)

I'm also intereseted in environmentalism.

And birds. I really love birds.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent two months in Mexico city working with the organisation Casa de los Refugiados. It was a rather amazing and life changing experience. Mexico is a beatiful place. If you ever get the opportunity to visit - do!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd like to share my love of adventure and new discoveries with others. I'm a vegetarian and love to cook so I can also share that! I can also speak fluent English so I'd be happy to help people improve/learn English. I'd like to work on improving my spanish.
