I'm an American student studying in Bristol, UK until June 2009. I grew up in New York City and I go to school at Mount Holyoke College in MA. And I probably still can't spell MA beyond the abbreviation.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books- Currently somewhat obsessed with Richard Wright. Old flames include Virginia Woolf and D.H. Lawrence (can you tell I'm an english major?)

Music- Depends on my mood. I love hanging out and listening to oldies like the beatles, zepplin, rolling stones, etc. But I also really really like some new wave stuff like depeche mode. And I love jazz. I would listen to blues more, but I find that it's best when I'm in a calm mood and as a student that rarely happens. :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completely by accident: On the plane to Fuzhou, I was looking out the window at the night sky, unable to see anything. Suddenly, the whole sky lit up from the lightening, and I could see the outline of mountains in the distance. It was kind of scary and incredible.
