ABOUT ME

First of all i love cinema, more than anything.
Studying cinema made me get interested in history, mythology, and then to civilisations and different cultures.
A couple of years ago i realized that i had not travelled a lot, and i had this extreme need to see the world and the people.
For two years i have been to Ireland, to United States (West coast road trip), to Barcelona, to London.
I'm going to Italy this summer (Milan - Florence - Rome).
My plans : to see Athenes and Istanbul.

PHILOSOPHY

Some people want to earn lot of money, some want to find love, i just want to see the world and meet a lot of people, because it makes me richer than anything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first read about CS in a french newspaper, i loved the idea, then my roomate left, so i have this extra room to share with travellers, because i like meeting different people, from another country and culture.
Also i love Paris, and it's a pleasure to show it to people who are discovering it, because there's no chance they don't like it ! ^^

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since i'm new on CS i have just one experience, two americans came to my place in June 2009, we had a really great time so i decided to continue the CS experience.
I'm convinced now that CS is a great experience with great people.

Interests

Cinema. History. Mythology. Sports. Playing guitar and singing.
I don't like cooking, driving, and dancing (i tried salsa but it's difficult) ^^

Music, Movies, and Books

So many movies. "La grande illusion", "It's a wonderful life", "Truman Show", "Breakfast at Tiffany's", "Casablanca", "Marius",etc.....
I like folk music, acoustic guitar. At this time i listen to : John Mayer, Joshua Radin, Jason Mraz, The Weepies, Matt Costa......
I'm reading at this time a book about adventure : "De l'esprit d'aventure", interview of 3 great travellers, about their life and their philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well at this time, it's probably my road trip to USA.
I wanted to see Great Canyon, i did, and i went also to Las Vegas, LA, San Francisco. It was one of my dreams.

Also i decided to quit my projectionnist job, that i loved, to become a special effects graphist, which i never did before. That's a challenge i try to win.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach about Paris, and maybe french cinema for few people.
I would like to learn about history of civilisations and countries.
I think we can share the best times on this planet, discovering our respective cultures.
